Background: Geriatric hip fracture patients frequently suffer femoral neck injuries. The advantage of using TXA topically over the IV route is that maximum concentration drug attained at wound/surgical site with minimal systemic side effects and also it easy to administer locally. Aim current study was fragmented necks femur can be treated Tranexamic acid reduce postoperative blood loss. Methods: Over course 20 months from June 2020 December 2021, orthopaedics department SMS Hospital, Jaipur, conducted this study.
